You can permanently delete your Sokommerce account and all associated data at any time. There are two ways to do it.

Option 1 — In the app

1. Open the Sokommerce Seller app.
2. Go to Settings.
3. Tap Delete account and confirm.

Your shop, listings, images and personal data are removed within 30 days.

Option 2 — Request by email

What gets deleted

When your account is deleted, we permanently remove:

1. Your account profile (name, email, phone number).
2. Your shop, products, services, prices, descriptions and uploaded images.
3. Your storefront and Soko Find listing.
4. Notification tokens and usage data linked to your account.

What we may keep

For legal and accounting reasons, we may retain certain transaction records (such as completed M-PESA subscription or boost payments) for the period required by law. These are not used for any other purpose.

How long it takes

Deletion is completed within 30 days of your request. You'll lose access to your shop immediately once deletion begins.
